Semi Permanent Make-up Correction & Removal
MICROPIGMENTATION SPECIALISTS – PERMANENT MAKE UP CLINICS
Our Semi Permanent Make-up technician has over 10 years experience in creating picture perfect Eyebrows, Eyeliner and Lips so that all of our beautiful clients can wake up with make up!
Over the years potential clients have approached us when things have not gone to plan with other technicians; we have been asked to help to correct uneven Brows or Lips, or maybe even tidy up Eyeliner where there has been a colour bleed. We, of course, offer Rejuvi Non-Laser Tattoo removal, but this is not an ideal solution to correct Facial Tattooing due to the aftercare requirements and potentially invasive nature of carrying out this type of procedure on the face.
Using a new technique with all mineral ingredients, we are now able to offer a solution. This method is suitable for almost everyone, with minimal trauma to the skin and a quick healing time due to the skin working to naturally exfoliate the unwanted pigment out.
Techniques and fashions are forever changing. With that in mind, you may simply want to update your semi permanent make-up look, change powdered eyebrows to the new Nano Hairstroke look or change your blue eyeliner to a new dark brown or black!
Permanent Make-up Correction & Removal-Questions and Answers
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from client to client as all skin types are different. Some clients notice a visible difference after the first session, others after 2 or 3. The more pigment that is in the skin will possibly require more treatments.
What are the benefits of using this method, versus laser removal or Rejuvi?
This method causes minimum trauma to the skin, therefore minimum pain. It is a relatively simple, non invasive procedure which provides extremely successful results.
Does it hurt?
We apply a topical anaesthetic, as with any of our semi permanent make-up procedures, but rest assured that this procedure is designed to be as non invasive as possible, and uses all natural ingredients.
How long does each session take?
Each session should take no longer than around 30-45 minutes, depending on which area is being worked on and the size of the area to be treated.
How long do I have to wait between each session?
You can have a repeat procedure in only 4-8 weeks after the previous treatment; how long between sessions depends entirely on how quickly the skin heals.
What colour will my eyebrows go during the process?
It is hard to tell, the darker pigment colours tend to have larger molecule sizes so they would be pushed to the top through the process first. The colours that are generally left behind are the warmer shades.
Can my eyebrow shape/colour be corrected after some removal?
Yes. Once you are happy with the result then you can start a correction treatment on both colour and shape.
Are there any risks?
If there are any signs of scarring from the original tattoo, this would not be able to be corrected.
There is a small chance that only a lightening of the colour may be achieved; therefore any correctional work would be carried out over a slightly faded colour. This can still achieve excellent improvement results.
Will this work if I have had my make up tattooed with permanent ink/tattooed abroad?
If your eyebrows have been tattooed on using permanent ink, or with unknown ink from a holiday abroad, it can be more difficult to predict results as permanent ink will always heal a different colour.
How much will each session cost?
We work to keep our treatments as cost effective as possible, so please contact one of our Team to book your free consultation in any of our Beauty and Cosmetic Salons in March, Cambridgeshire & Ely, Cambridgeshire.
